专利说明:
LIGHT DEVICE WITH IMAGE DISPLAY AND PROJECTION The invention relates to the field of lighting and / or light signaling, in particular for a motor vehicle. The patent document published under the number WO 2016/050503 A1 discloses a light signaling device for a motor vehicle, configured to display a pictogram on an area of a transmission display screen. The screen corresponds to a closing glass for the device case. The pictogram is produced by a first light module which may include an electromechanical microsystem with a matrix of mirrors capable of being controlled and producing different pictograms. The device may also include a second light module configured to illuminate another area of the display screen, distinct from the area displaying the pictogram. Such a device is advantageous in that it combines several light signaling functions in the same device, one of the light signaling functions comprising the pictogram display. As is apparent in this teaching, the display of a pictogram requires a potentially bulky light module, essentially in that it must project the pictogram on an area of the glass of the device which must have a minimum size so that the pictogram can be seen by observers around the vehicle. This means that the remaining ice zone (s) are reduced. This teaching also does not detail the layout and construction of such additional modules to that producing the pictogram. The published patent document EP 1 793 261 A1 discloses a light device configured to display pictograms on a photoluminescent screen. The main application of such a device is the display of pictograms in the field of vision of the driver of a vehicle, the windshield of the vehicle then forming the photoluminescent screen. Such an application is commonly called "head-up display". This teaching is therefore not suitable for displaying pictograms for the attention of people around the vehicle, such as from a rear light. The aim of the invention is to overcome at least one of the drawbacks of the above-mentioned state of the art. More particularly, the invention aims to allow a display of a bright image, such as a pictogram, combined with light signaling, presenting more possibilities, in particular in terms of size. The subject of the invention is a light device, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a transparent or translucent screen; a light module capable of projecting a light beam on the screen; remarkable in that the screen comprises a first diffusing zone and a second non-diffusing zone, so that a first part of the light beam projected on the first zone is diffused by the screen and a second part of said beam is transmitted by said screen to an external projection surface. Advantageously, the diffusing or non-diffusing character of at least one of the first and second zones can be variable over time and be controlled. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the light module comprises a light source and a control imager capable of forming different images as a function of a control signal. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the imager comprises a liquid crystal component capable of transmitting in a controlled manner the light emitted by the light source. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the light source has an illuminating surface less than or equal to 10 mm2. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the light module is configured to form distinct and independent light images on the first and second areas of the screen. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the light module is configured so that the light image or images transmitted by the second zone include pictograms. By pictogram means a schematic graphic representation, more particularly a stylized figurative drawing having the function of a sign, such as an arrow, an exclamation point, etc. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first and second zones are adjacent. Advantageously, one of the first and second zones is located inside the other of said zones. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first area of the screen comprises a diffusing film and / or a surface with a regular relief forming a diffusing diopter. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second area of the screen is transparent and smooth. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the device comprises a housing with an opening and housing the light module, the screen forming a glass covering the opening of the housing. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second area of the screen is located below the first area when the device is in the mounting position. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the device is a rear light of a motor vehicle. The measures of the invention are advantageous in that they make it possible to project a bright image on a projection surface of a potentially large size even when the light device remains compact. The measures of the invention are also advantageous in that a single light module performs at least two distinct light functions, one being a scattering beam and the other being an image projection outside the light module. Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will be better understood with the aid of the description and the drawings, among which: - Figure 1 is a schematic representation of the rear part of a motor vehicle equipped with a conforming light device to the invention; - Figure 2 is a sectional and schematic view of the light device of Figure 1. Figure 1 schematically illustrates the functions of a light device according to the invention, the device being in this case arranged on a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle 2 comprises at its rear part a light device in the form of a rear light. The light device 4 is configured to produce at least one signaling light beam 6 and to display a pictogram 8 on a projection surface 10 external to the light device 4. In this case the projection surface is formed by the road 10 located at vicinity of the vehicle. Figure 2 illustrates schematically and in section the light device of Figure 1. The device 4 comprises a housing 12 with an opening, a glass 14 forming a screen, fixed to the housing 4 and closing the opening, and a light module 16. The module in question is configured to project an image of the pictogram type, that is to say forming a schematic graphic representation, or else a stylized figurative drawing having the function of a sign. To do this, the module 16 comprises at least one light source 16.1 and an optical device 16.2 capable of forming the pictogram from the light rays emitted by the light source or sources 16.1. The optical device 16.2 can be an imager capable of forming different pictograms as a function of an electrical control signal. Such an imager may include a movable mirror capable of reflecting a light ray scanning periodically and rapidly a surface of the screen 14 corresponding to the pictogram to be displayed. The display can also include an electromechanical microsystem or MEMS (acronym for the Anglo-Saxon expression "Microelectromechanical Systems") forming a matrix of micro-mirrors. These micromirrors are pivoting and able to switch between two stable positions, one corresponding to an active state called "on" and an inactive state called "off" (where the light is reflected towards an absorbing zone). In the case of FIG. 2, the imager 16.2 is an electronic component with liquid crystals called LCD capable of transmitting in a controlled manner the light emitted by the light source or sources 16.1 according to control signals. The various imagers described above are in themselves well known to those skilled in the art and therefore do not require further description. As can be seen in FIG. 2, the light module 16 forms a light cone illuminating the internal face of the screen 14. This comprises a first zone or portion 14.1 diffusing and a second zone or portion 14.2 transparent and non-diffusing. Each of the first and second zones 14.1 and 14.2 is illuminated by the light cone of the light module 16. The light meeting the first zone is diffused during its transmission through the screen 14 to form the signaling light beam 6. It can in particular it is a function of lantern, direction indicator (flashing), stop lights, reversing light or fog light. Conversely, the light meeting the second zone is transmitted without or with very little scattering to form a projection beam 8 to a projection surface located outside of the light device 4, in this case by the neighboring road. . The light module 16 can thus be configured to form distinct and independent images on the first and second zones 14.1 and 14.2. By way of example, the image produced on the first zone may have a fixed geometry, in particular a simple geometry consisting in uniformly illuminating the whole of the first zone 14.1. The image produced in the second zone 14.2 is a pictogram which is projected onto the exterior projection surface. This pictogram can be fixed or variable. Several pictograms can be displayed selectively according to certain circumstances related to the vehicle and its environment. The pictograms may in particular include abbreviations or symbols having a recognized meaning and useful for traffic around the vehicle. For example, pictograms can include an exclamation point, an arrow or a word expressing a situation. The light module 16 is thus shared by the first and second zones 14.1 and 14.2 of the screen in order to form two light beams of different natures, one being a light signaling beam and the other being a projection beam of a pictogram on an exterior projection surface. For this purpose, this surface and the pictogram projected on this surface can be of a size substantially larger than that of the corresponding zone, in this case the second zone 14.2, of the screen. The diffusing character of the first zone 14.1 of the screen 14 can be obtained in different ways. By way of example, a coating or a strip of diffusing material 14.3 can be formed on one of the two main and opposite faces of a transparent wall 14.4 of the screen, at the level of the first zone. Such a coating or such a blade can include reflective microparticles ensuring reflections in many directions. The blade of diffusing material 14.3 can in particular be molded onto the transparent main wall 14.4. Still by way of example, the screen 14 can comprise on at least one of its main and opposite faces a relief forming a diopter with a complex surface deflecting the light by refraction in various directions. The activation of the two light beams 6 and 8 is ensured by the light module 16, more particularly by the supply of the light source 16.1 and by the control, advantageously electrical, of the optical imaging device 16.2. To form the light beam 6 only, the light source 16.1 must be activated and the optical imaging device 16.2 must be configured to illuminate only the first zone 14.1. Similarly, to form the light beam 8 only, the light source 16.1 must be activated and the optical imaging device 16.2 must be configured to illuminate only the second zone 14.2. To form the light beams 6 and 8 at the same time, the light source 16.1 must be activated and the optical imaging device 16.2 must be configured to simultaneously illuminate the first and second zones 14.1 and 14.2. The light device 16 has a point light source 16.2 so that the light beam produced has an infinite depth of field. This allows the image projected on the projection surface to remain sharp. It should also be noted that the projection surface may be other than a portion of the road in the vicinity of the light device. Indeed, by way of example, a portion of the vehicle body can be used as a projection surface, or else a specific projection surface can be provided on the vehicle. The projection surface can display the pictogram in reflection, as is the case with the road portion in the vicinity of the light device, or in transmission. In the latter case, the projection surface must then be transparent or translucent. It should also be noted that the screen of the light device can include more than two zones, so as to produce more than two light beams. It is indeed conceivable to provide a third zone zone, the light module then being configured to selectively illuminate each of the zones. Alternatively, an additional light module can be provided.
